The party went almost without a hitch, the only major drama was when the CD player decided to die but luckily the music situation was rapidly rectified, even if it no longer contained favourite hits from the 80s!
There were appearances by Boy George and Maverick
Alan and Eileen Bond
Boy George, Madonna, Gertie (from ET) still in a fairy dress from the morning and the anonymous Super Star

Dolly Parton and Warwick Capper
Also gracing us with their presence (I don't want to photo overload you) were Rod Marsh and Dennis Lilly, Cindy Lauper, a couple of Kylie Mole's, Indianna Jones, the Risky Business (boxer shorts and socks) Tom Cruise, a physical Olivia Newton John, Michael Jackson, Robert Palmer with a 'Simply Irresistible' girl, Gene Simmons, and The Blues Brothers amongst others!
At 40, I was happy and comfortable to bare my midriff as Madonna (even if my niece and nephew are convinced I was dressed as a belly dancer)!
