Boo had a trip to the doctor today. For some reason she has a doctor phobia and told me all the way there that she would kick the doctor, hit the doctor and even spit at the doctor... such a delightful child!
Boo was fine with the doctor (except for refusing to have her blood pressure tested). The scene was caused when she had to provide a urine specimen. There was no way she was weeing in a cup. "Wee goes in the toilet NOT in a cup" A tantrum followed, the tantrum persisted, and boy was I in trouble when I sneakily stuck the cup in her urine stream.
The tantrum continued out of the toilets into the waiting area, all the way to the car as she insisted we go and tip the wee in the toilet where it belongs!

Jack hates going to doctors and dentists! We usually get some kind of dramatic scene when we go. Although he's now more okay with the doctor...as long as a shot is not involved. If shots are involved, we have to chase him through the doctor's office.
Hope Boo is okay. Monet is quite good at the doctors. She once had a bit of a fear, but since turning 4 she really has been very good. (And nothing a bribery of a toy won't solve)...

Well, "for some reason" I don´t enjoy going to any doc, either btw, so I´m with Boo on that one!
I had to laugh at the idea of her making you tip it down the loo.

Alison - Boo is okay, though still concerned that her wee might still be in the cup!
Dina - I'm glad we are not the only ones creating dramatic scenes in the doctor's surgery. Boo has her shots at the children's immunisation clinic and quite happily goes there with no dramas involved! Go figure???
Jen - Specimen obtained by sneaky measures much to Boo's disgust!
Melody - Boo's fine (she just has an over anxious mother)! I've tried bribery but it doesn't work and I'm still left paying out the bribe!
